We are huge fans of Amazon Web Services here at Bizo. We run our entire infrastructure on EC2, S3, SQS and SimpleDB.
We are also fans of some of the Firefox Plugin tools that make it easier to work with AWS: ElasticFox and S3 Organaizer.
So when we needed a GUI tool that would let us work better with SimpleDB and figured we'd extend the "Firefox Plugin Suite" and build a Firefox Plugin of our own. Today we've officially released our Simple DB Firefox plugin called "SDB Tool". You can install it by clicking here on your Firefox 3.0+ browser.
The code is release under the Apache2 license and available on GitHub. We are using Google Code for issue management.
We hope you find it useful and would love to hear how you are using it.

That's awesome! Thank you guys for that great work.
Great plug-in guys!
Any chance you could make it configurable so it could also work with M/DB which is an open source alternative to SimpleDB? Should just require a change to the URL you use. See http://www.mgateway.com/mdb.html
This is great. Thanks a lot for the tool!
For details on how to adapt this tool for use with M/DB see http://groups.google.co.uk/group/mdb-community-forum/browse_thread/thread/7113f291ede9a2ec

Beautiful tool. Thanks. Alas, not Shiretoko (Firefox. Intel Mac 3.5) compatible. I had to quit using Firefox for testing due to performance issues (slowdowns and pauses with usage, over time).
Anyway, wanted to say thanks. It was useful while I could use it- and much appreciated.

Sorry but this doesn't seem to install in Firefox 3.5
Are you guys working on the Firefox 3.5 issue/s?
Sorry to see that it doesn't work with the latest version of Firefox (v3.5.3).
Still not working for FF 3.6. Is there any possibility of this plugin being updated? I would really appreciate it.
Brad, I've forked the project and updated it to work for FF3.6. I've only tested it on my local machine (Mac OS X 10.6.3 with FF3.6.2), but it should theoretically work for other configurations.
Here's the updated project:

I'll ping Donnie about merging the changes into the main project.
Will you be working to provide a version compatible with 4.0?
